This project is a attemt to expand the CSBWin graphic and features as much as posible.
Fixed:
New version:
- Walls and floors can "leave its bounderies", and with this create a more alive dungeon.
- Dungeon heightmap.
- Drinking out of fountain with hands.
- Mousepressing on walldecorations on the side walls.
- Peeking down floorpits, and up roof pits. Also peeking around corners.
- Weather system (some improments needed)
- Map simular to the map in the amiga version of CSB (some improments needed)
- An editor that are able to handle all the new graphics and features inside the dungeon.
- Animated monsters in 24 bit color.
- All wall/floor/door decorations can animated in 24 bit color.
- Skybox.
- Diffrent wallsets in the dungeon.
Previous fixes:
- Party movement and rotation in 3D.
- Monster movment in 3D.
- Item movement in 3D
- Replaced all dungeon graphics in CSBWin too 24 bit color.
In progress:
- Beeing able to add water or lava levels with a transparancy value of own choice.
- Fixing the action and spell bar so that it can have its own graphic and hopefully beeing able to change the layout.
On hold:
- Beeing able to replace and add quality sounds like a torch burning loop sound.
- Two handed combat.
- Minimap over the screen.
- Replacing the inventory with new layout and more colors. Also beeing able to design it yourself as you would like it to be.
- Replacing the championbar above the viewport with graphics of own choise.
- Every spell has its own graphic with animations.
I will update this post as I progress.
I will also add more features if anyone comes up with something new. If anyone is interested in creating a dungeon of his own with this project, I will gladly follow him and add the features that he wants in CSBWin3D.. (as long as they aren't too weird)
All new features can be enabled/disabled by the dungeon designer if he like or don't like them.
Just so everybody knows, I do this because I love programming and expanding DM..
But sometimes I feel like doing something else, so I do this in my own pace and may dissapeare from the project now and then.
I know that you all at this forum respect that, but I have experience of sometimes feeling that I am promising too much.
Therefore this scentence is more like a lifeline for me if I decide to take a break
