LotR won't work on my machine but it looks interesting enough... For Free!
Dungeons & Dragons Online is 'free' as well I believe, and made by the same company.

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
Yeah, DDO was free-to-play the last time I checked it (though wasn't the time before that, except to those in the USA), but when I tried to download it it just kicked out my Internet connection, so after a few tries I gave up. I imagine it's probably just something to do with the fact that I'm running via a wireless router thingy from my dad's comp downstairs, though.

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
love the trash story! I have a fair bit of experience running away from them as they wander around North Vancouver a fair bit. I've watched it eat kitty litter out of the very "secure" trash containers, and then proceed to wander over to the neighbours, take their "secure" garbage bin, rip it open, drag it onto the hood of their car and have a "picnic" there.. while they try to bang pots to scare it off. Non of this got the special bear force out to do anything, except to put up a "bear sighted in the area" sign about 2 weeks later. However, calling about the bear poop found down the street had them come out that day and put orange traffic cones around the bear poop (a pile about a foot in diameter and about 4 inches high) to warn people of it's position, lest anyone accidentally step in it and drown
It appears cleaning it up was not an option....

It's pretty amazing isn't it? It's so good I thought maybe it was even especially photographed, but Book's head gives it all away.cowsmanaut wrote:Gambit, that is an awesome bit of Photoshop! who ever did that has some skill

This BA-FA guy is going to scare me for next several weeks. I'm definitely not going to fall asleep tonight - his BA-FA still echoes in my head. It's almost as scary as Mophus.

Aww, I didn't bother to put this up because it seemed to be doing the rounds so fast around the twitterverse. Yes, it's very good!

Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
Hey, that's cool, beautifully illustrated and spooky....
Re: Cool stuff you've found on the web
The best parts of the creep factor are what is not explained, and the way it ends. It doesn't hurt it has great illustration
