Yup. See, I'm not that evil sending four powerful killers after you guys in Soorec's room. You guys just suck at healing each other and yourselves. :p

Haynuus has perhaps got used to the strangely speaking circlet on his head. While the voice felt like it was coming from there, Haynuus could tell it was as if something else wrere 'vibrating' the circlet, speaking through it. Dolo certainly seemed the most likely candidate. Although what was it deephold had said - fear and anger? Speaking about the bottom of feet - or healing - were topics that provoked neither reaction in Haynuus.

Petal was feeling a similar oddness, not able to bring any additional powers to bear on anything so nebulous, she nevertheless felt the voice apart from anything around her. It did not seem natural - no air elemental, nor message spell, nor anything she had encountered before. Oddly, it stirred a memory in her. Like that of a dream. A voice she recognised, that seemed to be no-one she knew...

Ameena walked on, painfully, perhaps not noticing the speech of her friends to begin with. However, something else took her attention. Deephold was walking with a torch he had managed to secure, and it was casting strange shadows on the wall closeby. At first it seemed a trick of the light, after all the butterfly's wings made Ameena's shadow look like it had wings, or she had six legs. However, one thing became apparent. Ameena's shadow was not, all the time, actually moving at the same rate that Ameena was.

The grak-grak walked on, not noticing or caring about the party behind it and their actions. For now it seems oblivious to anything the party were experiencing.

Ameena changes focus slightly, now paying more attention to her shadow and slightly less to her surroundings - she increases and decreases her speed slightly, keeping her eyes on it to see whether this has any effect. She also glances around at those other shadows she can see, to try and work out whether anything else looks odd - she doesn't call attention to it, not yet, in case the grak-grak (and therefore Soorec) doesn't know about it and this turns out to be a good thing.

OOC - Perception check specifically for keeping an eye on the shadow, though obviously her natural senses are alert to the surroundings in as much as she is still watching where she's going, listening out for danger, and so on...anyway, Perception = 19 (8+11).

Petal flits along in silemce, thinking her own thoughts while holding the healing potion in one hand and dagger in the other. She closes her eyes and concentrates, trying to see if she can summon up the 'voice' again. 'Hello? Who or what are you?' she thinks to herself, trying to 'send' the thoughts out in a similar way that she uses her mana. Doubtful that anything will answer, she still figures it wouldnt hurt to try.

The half-orc starts ferreting around in his ear hole with a finger. You never know what you might find in there.

Completely oblivious now to Petal's or Ameena's little experiments he follows the grak-grak while complimenting the dwarf on his VI-abilities. "Wonderful trick you have, for healing us all back to health. The blue bottles that you give us are truly our saviour down in this hell."

OOC - We got full health back?

OOC - I don't imagine we're healed up just like that - this isn't exactly a rest-stop, after all. I mean, we're walking through what's most likely rather dangerous territory in the wake of a defintely dangerous undead thingy, whilst keeping eyes and/or ears on weird goings-on - I wouldn't really call it downtime ;).

"Oh, so now you are talking to me?" says the voice in Petal's head. "But you talked to your new 'friend' first about me. We used to be so close. You said you were my friend." There was a strange absence suddenly in Petal's head. As if she knew something had stormed off.

Meanwhile, Ameena's shadow seemed to be deliberately playing with her. It stopped for a second, and then rushed on ahead. At one point, it actually inverted so it appeared the shadow was walking backwards. It was, to say the least, a little disconcerting.

Hmmm mmmm hmmm mmm mmmm, came the noise just at the edge of hearing in Haynuus's ear. Perhaps clearing the wax out of his ear had been a mistake. It was as if the circlet were making the noise, but Hyanuus had guessed this wasn't quite the truth.

"Larethian's gifts are not 'tricks'" said Deephold, but there was no anger or malice in his tone, taking the comments as the compliment it was meant. Deephold gingerly touched the area where he had been struck by the grak-grak earlier, then temporarily hooked his mace to his belt. "I think I shall petition that aid as far as his grace will allow. You are right, it is a valuable commodity."

Deephold was then distracted by Ameena's behaviour. "What is she looking at?" asked Deephold, noticing Ameena looking to the wall but obviously not seeing what the murafu was seeing.

The grak-grak turned its head to look backwards, but seemed to stop at Deephold's actions, and gave a disgusted look before turning back.

OMG. That better not be who I think it is!! Can she tell who the 'voice' is? Like does it sound like a certain...someone?

Petal smirks as the huffy mental 'voice' starts its diatribe. Only one...person...ever sounded like THAT. But there was no way, no way it could be... She is distracted from her musings by Deephold motioning to Ameena. What was she looking at, anyway? The murafu appeared to be staring at the wall. The pixie shrugs. Who knows what her colorful and odd companions found interesting. Turning her thoughts inward again, she 'thinks' the same way she did before. 'You are alive? You have no idea how glad I am, I thought you were dead!'

She has no idea if the voice is who she thinks it is, but she definatley has suspicions.

Wait. At the last rest-stop we healed completely? (obviously minus the damage we took since then)

OOC - We haen't hd a rest-stop since fighting the grak-grak, I thought - it just stopped us attacking it by turning into Soorec and then Helm, and then we started following it - there's been no downtime since we were back in the waterfall cave after we got rid of the Darkstone.

BIC - As Deephold's comment reaches her, Ameena realises he might be talking about her, and glances around. She gives the grak-grak a nervous look too, but fortunately it doesn't seem too interested. She manoeuvres herself so that she can look as best she can at the dwarf and pauses momentarily to gesture with a forepaw toward her shadow. She also gives a meaningful glance toward the grak-grak, not wanting the creature to find out about what she's doing in case it turns out this shadow-thing is a friend and something Soorec doesn't like.
She continues to look at her shadow, meanwhile, and starts making slightly larger movements, increasing and decreasing her speed a little more dramatically (though still trying to avoid the notice of the grak-grak) to see if the...whatever it is...will copy her. Maybe it's friendly - maybe it's playing with her!

OOC - In case it's necessary, a Stealth roll to do all this messing around without the grak-grak noticing = 33 (18+15). It's a bit like a bunch of kids arsing about whilst walking behind a teacher, then acting all innocent as soon as said teacher turns round to look at them ;).

Ya, the rest stop at the waterfall. I didnt heal there besides what i drank from the potion to counteact getting half frozen to save Ameena. So, I only had like 22 hp and then got hit by the grak-grak and im real real beat up at this point. Should I have healed at the rest stop?

Yep. Like I said, you aren't in combat. It is up to your own conscience. Are you 'done' poking around, and are following the grak-grak for a while? Then assume you restore full mana, and then work out how much healing you need before you can start filling flasks.

Or, are you expecting trouble and are going to keep investigsating the weirdness. In that case, you'll need to figure out how much mana you want to burn right now and how much you want to hold back. You might provoke grak-grak anger or some other reaction that leads to combat.

At some point you guys will just be walking, and then you can basically heal up - depending on your wounds (for example, it will take alot to push Haynuus up to full, I think?). I just need to know how much healing you are doing, and how you are distributing your empty flasks with potions afetr that.

If anything is going to happen to interrupt, I'll need to work out the timing.

Our half-orc inhales between his chipped blackened teeth(*) in confusion.

"¿Hmmm mmmm hmmm mmm mmmm?" he repeats from what he hears. "Say Deephold you never told us. Are there any kind of secondary effects supping on these here potions? Hallucinations or voices emanating from inside your head for example?"

"Petal, you are hearing stuff too then? I don't understand it. Is it magic? Yes, it must be." He returned looking to the grak-grak as they walked and stuck his tongue out at it while it wasn't looking for sheer frustration as he didn't really understand what was going on. If Petal was hearing it along with him, what did they have in common?

Worse of all Ameena now started to dance.

(*) He used to apply ash to darken them in his youth, to prove his maturity. Now at his giddy 17 years of age he's proud to have them with a pallette between yellow and black with splashes of screamer green stuck in there hopeing to come loose to reproduce via mitosis(**) once more in a new environment.

(**) Amoebas separate via mitosis to reproduce, while screamers around Haynuus tend to separate via his chomping-salivating gums and what's thrown out of the sides of his mouth sometimes get lucky and lands on a damp spot to grow once more. Nature is beautiful, albeit a little chewed on.

@raixel: Well, given Petal only got the memories back a little from touching on the oily man's mirror, then she could certasinly both imagine the voice is the same, or imagine she's just thinking the voice is the same :D

Petal feels a pressure in her head again. "Good. So you should be!" there is a pause. "After all, I'm dong all I can to make sure he doesn't get to you. Not Him[/i], but...him." There is another pause. "And do not say my name!" comes the demanding squeak. Another pause. "And don't tell them who I am, either" says the voice, a little more petulantly.

Ameena's dancing with her shadow still resulted in the same behaviour, the shadow seemed to delight in toaking the opposite movement to Ameena, or to delay or speed up by a fraction. Well, at least until she thought about the shadow being friendly and playing with her. THen it suddenly upended itself, legs twitching in the air as if Ameena had keeled over dead.

Then again, perhaps this was still playing - but it was not very nice playing, if that's what it was. Still, at least the butterfly at her shoulder was not doing anything strange, it seemed to be quite calm, merely washing itself and occasionally flapping its wings or shifting position if Ameena's gait caused it to rock to much.

Deephold stops looking to what Ameena is doing with Haynuus's questions. "No, the blessings of Larethian - and other High Lords - carry no ills." Deephold looks a little embarrased at Petal, for almost slighting her own powers, but then realises the pixie is distracted.

Deephold's eyes them widen when Haynuus asks his next question. "Haynuus, what voices?" He looks back to Petal and Ameena. "This must be the priest's work! What is the matter with you all?"

Of course, the grak-grak looks around at the disturbance again. Luckily, Petal is quiet and Ameena is being careful in her investigations. It therefore leaves the half-orc and dwarf to receive the full glare of the fake Helm.

Work's getting a little busier again, and I also have distractions at the weekend. I'll try to keep the updates coming at a decent pace though :) Once again, nice little asides Ian. And I like the image of the school children following teacher grak-grak. Of course, that makes Deephold the uptight class monitor!

I have a feeling stuffs going to get....interesting...now. :) Or insane, depending on who you talk to. Perhaps a little chaotic. Anyway, Ive adjusted my HP to account for spending some time resting at the waterfall, which I hadn't done before. Figure she woulda spent some time meditating and healing herself, so.

Petal flits up next to the half-orcs head again, and tries not to wince at his scraggly teeth and...vegatative infused breath. More like a swamp, really. "Yes, I am hearing what you are hearing." she whispers to him. "It is magic, sort of." She doesnt try to go into any more detail on the nature of the voice, as she doesnt want to hurt poor Haynuus' head. And besides, the being asked her not to. And if said being was thwarted he could get rather...petulant. Besides, they could use his help. If he was who she thought he was. But, unless someone was actually pretending to be him there wasnt many things ojn this planet that sounded like him. She didnt get to be one of tthe most powerful sorceresses of her generation by not trusting her intuition.

She nods again to Haynuus and smiles. "Dont worry too much about it." The pixie wishes she could tell Haynuus who she thought the voice was, but with a glance at Deephold she understood why the voice would want its identity secret. Priests tended to be touchy about that sort of thing. So for now, she follows quietly, waiting for the voice to speak to her again.

"It'd be great to not worry too much about it, so long as it doesn't mess with my head..." Haynuus taps his temple with a big dirty finger "...It can stay in there with all the other stuff then." He next returns with a big false smile to the grak-grak. He didn't know how much of their enemy in front of them was the gnome, or the construct. Was it merely an extension of that evil little mage or did it have it's own mind and was in charge of it's own actions?

In response to the dwarven priest however Haynuus was a little more polite. "I had heard something in my head, mister Deephold. But it's not like that evil-elf stuff." He remembered to not repeat his name, and in fact had almost already forgotten it! "It doesn't seem to want to control or inflict any harm. I'll let you know if I hear any more stuff, sir."

He returns his attention to Petal now, although a little bit more conspiratorially. "Just tell it from me." He hisses. "To stay away from any memories regarding goblins. Very bad in there. Not suitable for children."

Ameena becomes aware that her friends seem to be holding whispered conversations behind her, and wonders whether their shadows are acting strangely as well. She notices that hers has apparently decided to flip itself onto its back - maybe it is playing with her, since perhaps it's just rolling over playfully. She wonders whether she should attempt to talk to it, but doesn't want to risk attracting the grak-grak's attention. She also wonders whether this thing really is her shadow, or whether he real shadow is, for some reason, invisible at the moment - after all, if there's light, there's shadow, and the group is walking by torchlight at the moment.
The alternative isn't too pleasant - the thought that this creature is her shadow, and that she therefore has a darker version of herself attached to her. Again. Though obviously, this version isn't quite the same. It doesn't have red eyes, for starters, and it hasn't tried to talk to her or do anything particularly nasty. All it seems to be doing is moving about, perhaps merely demonstrating its presence in a subtle kind of way - maybe it wants to talk to her, whatever it is, but won't at the moment because of the grak-grak, or maybe some other reason.
She does keep an eye on her surroundings, and on the grak-grak, waiting to see whether it will change shape again and go back to its natural form.

As Ameena thinks about her readl shadow, and suddenly notices something on the edge of her vision. She does indeed have a second shadow. Unfortunately, that one is standing on its hind legs unlike her. It is waving its arms rapidly, as if it has been trying to get her attention. Once Ameena looks across to it, it starts gesturing to the first shadow, and then making a strange sweeping motion of its arms - like she has seen humans do, as if showing something is wrong. Her original shaodw rolls back on its four legs again, however it starts walking along without moving.

Moonwalk!

Deephold's eyes shot up when the others start speaking about hearing voices, but it being alright. HOwever, before he can fully detail his feelings on all of that, the fake Helm walked slowly towards him, walking passed Ameena and ignoring the rest of them. HElm stand right beside the dwarf, who slowly slides his hand towards his mace. The creature bows at the waist, looking closer at the dwarf.

There is the subtle sound of sniffing...

"I liked what you did before," says the voice in Petal's head, apparently oblivious to Deephold's plight. "When you set the dwarf on fire, and he fell over? Very amusing. You should do that again when you get the chance." There was a pause. "Really, you need to do it again. Very soon. He's not listening to me, which means he must be talking to him."

Can you roll me another d20 for Petal please?

The grak-grak stops sniffing, and gives the others a suspicious look. It then slaps itself very hard in the face, enough to stagger itself. There is a moment's look of pain, and then a longer moment of a slow, cruel smile. It then turns and begins walking again, looking back once to make sure ther party start moving again.

Deephold instantly looks to Haynuus. "Dont listen to whatever is being said," the dwarf hisses. He quickly looks to the other two aswell. "You are all in danger."

However, the dwarf takes a step away from the group, and keeps his hand on the haft of his mace. It would take a skilled observer to realise the dwarf was mumbling to himself, as quietly as possible.

'Eerie. Eerie,' chants the circlet in Haynuus's mind, although it is still clear it is not the circlet's voice. A sensation like deja vu shivers Haynuus's mind for a moment, and he realises the circlet is actually saying 'IR' and 'RI'. Why, is of course beyond him.

Looking to his free hand absently, Haynuus then sees that his fingersnails - infact his fingers - are growing ech time he looks at them, trying ot become grak-grak-like talons. For now, whenever he blinks or looks away the stop and reset. SOmething in Haynuus's brain knows it is a hallucination.

All in all, it would be rather disconcerting to an outside observer that the disguised undead horror was the most sanely acting member of the rag-tag group. A group that was still travelling ever-deeper into the mountain.

Heh, and let's leave it there for now! Work tomorrrow plus party tomorrow night = no update until Sunday most likely!

OO! a party! Have fun!

d20 =1d20=16

Petal stares at the dwarf when the voice tells her about 'him'. "Who is *he*" she asks the voice, willing her thoughts out the way she had been, as it seemed to be working. When the dwarf slides his hand towards his mace and steps away, Petal notices a fevered gleam in his eyes. Ameena appears to be staring intently at the wall, and Haynuus hisses a whisper to her about memories he is afraid of the voice seeing, his eyes afraid.

Are you doing this to my companions? They all seem...odd. she thinks at the voice.

Haynuus puts his hand on the dwarf's shoulder, if only to mentally steady himself. "I think you're right. It now feels like when I once borrowed some of our shaman's mushrooms(*). My head is... A little strange." There was no escape from the effects of whatever poison this thing had given him, so he could only warn the others. "I think I'm hallucinating a little or something. Petal, you are already flying but does your head feel a little lighter than normal?"

* Just as a master knows the weaknesses of his students, Haynuus' shaman knew he'd assume that all of natures gifts were both good for you, and free for all (no matter whose basket the mushrooms currently rested in). Haynuus would be tripping for several days after stealing from the shaman, and it would be a lesson well learnt.

Ameena notices the second shadow and looks at it, now growing even more confused. She then notices the grak-grak moving toward Deephold, as well as the conversation between Petal and Haynuus. She wonders what's going on, and looks from one of her shadows to the other in puzzlement - both of them are moving differently from her, which must surely mean that neither of them are really her shadow. Then, she wonders, where is it?
She starts to become a little more nervous that this might be a return of the effects of the elf she'd hoped they'd left behind - whatever it is, it seems to be affecting everyone. Just in case, she starts trying to build up happy thoughts in her head again, memories of murafu to try and stop herself from becoming scared, as she did when trying to fend of the effects of the Darkstone.
At the same time, she continues to regard both shadows, watching them carefully but not really sure what she should do about them. She cautiously reaches out with a forepaw to touch the edge of the nearest shadow (OOC - Which ever shadow that happens to be), ready to make a rapid withdrawal if doing so should provoke any kind of effect, even one which doesn't seem immediately harmful.

The party was indeed fun!

Ameena realised the first shadow was 'her' shadow, and stretched out from her in a flickering way. The new shadow was compltely separate from her. The more Ameena thought happy thoughts, the more her original shadow's capering did not seem so friendly and nice. And the more she thought of Dolo, and felt an odd ache in her left yet healed side, the more she felt her shadow was not a real thing - it was like the hallucinations she had first experienced from Dolo, making her think her friends were dead or evil.

However, the shadow did not disappear with the knowledge. As Ameena reached forwards to touch the shadow - perhaps dispel the illusion - the shadow acted. It pulled at itself, and the stretched line of shadow between the two of them, and tried to pull her closer. Ameena was still grounding herself in happy thoughts, and despite the optical illusion did not move closer forwards.

The second shadow moved forwards, and pulled at the 'cloak' of the original shadow. So revealed, Ameena's actual shadow looked like the evil red-eyed false Ameena the murafu had seen earlier. There was a moment of revulsion, and sudden;y the illusion was broken. Ameena's shadow was perfectly normal again, and the second shadow was gone.

Deephold almost draws the mace on Haynuus as the orc moves and takes hold of him. However, at the words instead Deephold takes Haynuus's hands and looks directly into the half-orc's eyes, despite the wild height difference. "It is the priest, and you must reject it!" Deephold increasing the volume of his muttering a touch, and Haynuus can make out the worsd Larethian. The hands that had kept growing even in Deephold's possession suddenly stopped, and the words from the circlet in Haynuus's mind became much, much quieter. That allowed Haynuus to hear the normal circlet voice - well, hopefully the normal circlet voice. It was saying 'danger' at him.

"Make him stop! I command it!" comes the voice in Petal's head. "Throw a fireball at the meddling dwarf!" Petal can, perhaps, almost imagien the figure standing infront of her gesturing wildly. "I'm keeping your friends distracted from him, and the dwarf is spoiling it! And you know who he is, just as you know I can't say his name. And you can't let him know who I am by telling people about me!" There was a pause in the air, as if a pout. If he finds out then he'll be able to separate us. And then He will get me! And you promised you'd never leave me! Or you would have. Or you should have. You cannot leave me! I won't let you!" If voices could have stamped their feet, this one would have been doing it. Also, Petal could tell the 'he' and 'He' the voice refered to were two different people. There was something in the tone of voice.

And done :) I might add a metagame explanation of something after the next update, just to make sure character confusion is not player confusion aswell :D

OOC - Neither shadow should be wearing a cloak - if you remember, Ameena left it behind in Dolo's cell. It was getting all tatty anyway ;).

BIC - Ameena gives a puzzled yet relieved look at the second shadow as it apparently makes the first, hostile-seeming shadow disappear. She looks up and around at Deephold and Haynuus, and sees that the dwarf seems to be doing something to help both of them throw off whatever effects are upon them. She's now almost certain these effects are being caused by...that person they left behind in that room earlier.
Meanwhile, she looks to Petal. Does the winged one know about him? Ameena realises that if she doesn't things could get very bad, very quickly - she remembers being afraid of Westian, thinking he was dead...or was it undead, and believing he was going to kill her. And suppose Petal is being told something bad about the rest of the group? With her abilities to throw fire...
Quickly, though wincing because of the continued pain from the recent grak-grak attack, she raises herself upright and starts waving and gesturing frantically at the hovering pixie.
"It's the bad priest!" she calls. "I mean, I'm quite sure of it - he gets inside your head and makes you think things that aren't right. He made me scared of Westian because I thought he was an undead thing trying to get me! He put that...that Darkstone inside me! You have to think of good thoughts. Happy thoughts! Remember good times you had with your friends, or something. Don't think of things that make you scared - that just makes it worse."
She is now no longer concerned that the grak-grak (and therefore Soorec) will notice - her friends may well be in danger from worse than a physical attack, and besides, since Soorec doesn't like the one doing these things, she's decided that hopefully he'll do nothing to make them get worse.
Meanwhile, Ameena continues to look worriedly up at Petal, wondering what kinds of things are happening in the pixie's head. Though she, personally, prefers close physical contact when afraid, she knows that trying to touch the pixie right now might be a bad idea, if Petal chooses to view it as some kind of attempted attack. Besides, she has no idea whether pixies even like being touched.

It's as if the shadow had a cloak pulled off. Couldn't think hoe else to describe it.

OOC - Ahh okay, I thought you meant that the shadow was wearing a cloak, as Ameena used to, and that the other shadow reached out and pulled it off ;).

Ameena's outburst confirmed Haynuus' suspicions. At first he thought that it could have been an air elemental or a friend of Petal. But now the murafu was so agitated about what was going on that she looked as if she had just been through a fight - a mental one.

"Yes, reject these thoughts." he replied to Deephold. And then imagined (happy!) thoughts of kicking the elf in the gonads but using a mummy's leg - as there was no way anyone would be getting him out of that prison cell, he wistfully hoped. "Thank you for helping us through these dark magic spells" he added. For all of his experience in the martial arts, a jolly good prayer was what was sometimes needed.

God, why is it whenever my work comes down and I cant post for a few days, my post is needed on the site. Sorry guys. Gah, too many pronouns.

Petal knows who the voice is now. It was a friend. As much of a friend as that...being...could ever be to anyone. But an evil priest? Who the Nine Hells were her friends talking about. It obviously wasn't the same voice as her...friend. She listens to Ameena, trying to understand the murafu's frantic speech. She looks at her, and looks rather sane. Well, as sane as she ever looks.

"Hm. In my head the voice is different, I think, than the dwarf's voice. The voice, I know. A friend. The dwarf tho, in his head the voice is bad. Stop him from using his magic, we must. Aperently, a link to this 'evil' he is." she tells the agitated murafu.

After speaking to Ameena, the pixie flies over to Haynuus. "Help! Restrain the dwarf, we must! His mouth we must cover, so a spell he cannot cast! Under the influence of evil, he appears to be!" she whispers to the half-orc, hoping Deephold wont hear.

After she speaks she thinks "No, I'm not gonna throw a fireball at him unless he gets very dangerous, as much as I know you'd enjoy that." at the being speaking in her mind.

Ameena looks at Petal, confused.
"How do you know the voice in your head is different?" she asks, puzzled. "Whose is it? Can you be sure it's a friend of yours? That's what...he...does - he makes you think things that aren't true. I've just seen...something much like what I saw when I had the Darkstone in me. But that other shadow..."
She pauses, realising that there clearly is some other influence at work here, unless...that person...is for some reason disrupting his own effects. Then again, that might be to get her to trust that other shadow. But how can she be sure?
"Just...if you think of happy things..." she adds. "Don't think about the voice in your head, or about things that make you scared - that lets him get into your head more and he can make you think more and more things that aren't right."
She doesn't really know what she can do about Deephold. Haynuus is already with him, though, and she isn't sure what she could do without getting in the way so she just stands nearby and tries to keep an eye on both her friends and her immediate surroundings, whilst also remaining aware of the grak-grak in case it does anything. She realises that if Petal is right, Deephold is trying to use his magic, and considering what she knows of him, wonders whether he'd try to strike down the grak-grak. While this wouldn't normally be a particularly bad thing, Ameena knows that it isn't something she wants to happen right now - not while the grak-gak's in the shape it is.

OOC - Ameena's main focus is the rest of the group, but she's keeping an eye and an ear out for anything else weird - her shadow, the grak-grak, anything else in the vicinity which she might want to take note of. Perception = 30 (19+11).

"Danger" Haynuus repeats to Petal what his circlet has told him.

He whispers to her "I've seen only good things from Deephold, and I doubt that he knows many evil spells. Are you sure your voice is not deceiving you."
