Afraid (in terms of the game) that I managed to get a last minute holiday for me and the family - so from 3 today I'm away until next Friday.... please don't kill me!

That's fine, in fact I've sort of had a surprise mum visit sprung on me at the end of next week. So expect minimal to no updates between Tjursday lunchtime and Tuesday evening!

Indeed it does. And maybe reduced D&D this weekend too. I need to go in to work at least tomorrow, so it might be as short as last Saturday, and I also need to find time to tody up, get extra laundry done, and clean up the place properly. I doubt I'll have time during the week, so will need to spend time probably Sunday on that.

Technically we have the Monday holdiay, of course. Will see how everything's going though, work and tidying wise. Might be able to have equivalent time spread over three days instead of two.

Anyway, too late now, of course, but I did mean to say enjoy your well deserved time off! You always sound so damn busy at work, I'm sure you can do with the cool break :D

Ah yeah, true, we might be able to do some stuff on Monday - I'm working but I'm doing 1-5 instead of 2-6 and there's no club as we don't meet on Bank Holidays. So I'm sure we can get in a few hours :). Maybe some time soon the group can actually head out into the Big Wide World and erm, meet big scary monsters and stuff and hopefully not get eaten/squished/mauled/blown up/disintegrated, etc .

Hmm, just realised I splowed the game for the discussion between the players right before the game is going to slow for my absence. Good for Westian and Falkor to catch up with later, but of course robs so much momentum for you gusy, sorry! Wish the timing had worked out so this was my absent weekend now :(

Anyway, will give Raixel time to reply. If she hasn't replied by tonight (or of course if she has and the debate has ended one way or the other) then I will move us ahead. Withoput Raixel's input, I'm going to say that while I personally think there were one or two good lines there for an argument to help, I'll respect Petal's default position is unlikely to change and she won't give aid. Then I'll move us us on based on that. Lol, which Ameena the character can't argue with, since that was basically what happened with the violence debate :D

Still no raixel? :( Hope she's ok.

Sorry, ran out of time last night. You can also blame Ameena, though really I ran out of time before that. WIll update tonight for Haynuus and Ameena just to move on the central Trolins/Helm stuff, perhaps ready to move on freshly next Tuesday.

Ok, you know the drill by now, I'll probably not be able to update, or I might post just as much as normal over the time off. More likely the former, of course, but many times I seem to keep updating. So we shall see :D See you on the flipside! Feel free to start discussing actual specifics of what you want to do after Ameena's hadher heart to heart here!

Also, I know usually things in a game just don't get referred to but you need to assuem they are there. Over the last to updates, I have deliberately not mentioned something. I'm goign to let your characters' and players' attention be the same, and see if you spot what that might be. Like I said, maybe being a little mean, sicne SOP for games is to assume everything and everyone is around.

I dunno, I'm off in the spirit-world. Everyone still present? Deephold? The Air Elementals? All the trolls (haven't learnt their names yet so I've no idea how many "named ones" there actually are 'cause I've not really been able to keep track)? No sign of Dolo showing up? Or more undead? What about that fighting sound that we heard down the corridor when we arrived in this area? Um...what about those trolls who buggered off? Ameena still needs to go through that stuff she looted out of the chest, but she's got more important (to her) things to deal with right now ;).

Actualyl, you are right, I haven't mentionesd the air elementals. See, this is why its mean, you kinda need to assumje some things are around. Still, the elementals are not visible. Hmm, actually, might edit the update for their presence.

Ameena's not in a position to notice stuff like that at this moment anyway. Hmm I dunno then, what could be missing. Obviously people like Aurek and Westian are PCs even if they've not done much these last few posts due to their players being busy/away or whatever, so I presume they're not the issue. The Vi Altar hasn't been described as changing in any way. There were no other elementals accompanying the group. The room just had bookshelves (hey, can someone whose chaarcter can read go and see if there's anything interesting? :D), the table with the bottles on, the chest which Ameena looted, and the mummies that got ganked by mob tactics from the whole group. And the group consisted of Ameena, Falkor, Westy, Haynuus, Aurek, Petal, Deephold, a load of blue trolls (including the troll king and several other named ones), and a bunch of Air Elementals. And, spiritually, the ghost girl and Helm. Oh, and Helm's corpse being carried/dropped/carried/dropped ;). And, hopefully, not some sneaky influence of Dolo's roaming around. Though I'm presuming Ameena and Falkor would notice if he came near, as their on the spiritual plane right now which as far as I gather is where he's more visible when trying to influence people from a distance.
Did I miss anything?
Well, actually, to answer my own question - probably, because I haven't mentined whatever it is you've not mentioned, lol.

Oh well, someone else will have to notice if they've disappeared...as long as they don't suddenly pop up in spirit form where Falkor and Ameena are, of course ;).

Internet's up again. If this happens again im switching services. Three times in 6 months is too much, and this last one took 6 days to stablize. BTW what holiday are you guys talking about. I thought at first you were talking about last weekend, but...obviously not since the posts slowed down.

Westian off until 17th, money back after this weekend, I am back o posting properly wednesday

Last weekend was slow as your absence meant i was updating for 2 -3 out of 6 people, so i let it go slower to catch as many people. As luck would have it, I only got us to the stage where I could rapidly update for Haynuus, Ameena and Petal separately as much as needed to move the scene on right when I could't update anymore :(

I feel real bad. I was actually contemplating driving halfway across town to the library that had the bast free internet just to give you guys a heads up that my home net was shot, but I couldnt get around to it. Needless to say, I like this forum enough that if I suddenly drop off the face of the earth, something is up. :D

Eh, no. I'm enough of a geek that even if I did get a surprise holiday, I'd let you guys know beforehand. :) 'Up' most ikely means 'my internet is acting the heretofore mentioned 'up'.

BTW, has anyone seen LB? I posted a bunch of questions about the char he wanted to play in my game in my 'char creation' thread, but he never responded. I'm trying to keep my PM box from severe overload (its already there), but if I dont hear from him soon i guess I'm gonna have to PM him. I know he has crap internet (and believe me I understand!), so isnt around a lot, but Im really excited about his char concept and was thinking of adding him in the pregame.

Don't think he's posted for a while. I figured your inbox was probably full or something as I've not had a reply to my last couple of PMs yet so I thought maybe your inbox had got full in which case you can't read new messages till you delete some old ones, 'cause that's happened to me before now ;).
Looking forward to finishing up my char gen, once you know what you want me to do regarding my skills. I think that was about the only thing left outstanding, wasn't it? I can't remember off the top of my head now, it's been a couple of months since I looked at my char sheet ;). I suppose technically I could grab a PDF copy of the char sheet from the back of the PHB and use that but of course the skill list would be wrong. I could maybe edit it in Paintbrush and replace it with the 4th edition version but if I remember rightly you're not completely replacing the 3.5 skill list with the 4th are you? Just only simplifying it a bit but keeping some of the 3.5 skills. Plus I suppose I'd have to then upload that image somewhere for you to see...well, I have a Photobucket account, and an OP one (were we gonna use OP in the end? Was it even mentioned or am I getting confused with some other game I've been playing at club or something?). Meh, it was just a thought ;).
I do rather look forward to the game starting and me getting to introduce my character and seeing what everyone else thinks and stuff .

LB = not sure. Obviously he hasn't posted in the game for a while, but has posted in other places, so not sure.

And yeah,. this game has stretched a little longer for various reasons, but I#'m still assuming we'll finish soon. Maybe still be a few months, the way things are going!

Ah well, I'd rather take it slowly and have a satisfying conclusion than rush it and have people feel not happy with it somehow :).
