That's beautiful, and very cleverly done. I love the details -- see the rainbow!? Palette-remapping was a big part of old games, including Dungeon Master (simulating darkness) . It was also used to create the little scrolling bar at the bottom of the Windows 95 load screen.

A very simple effect put to great use Oh, and I'd love to live there!

On the topic of Lego (which may help out Tom Hatfield's lego Dungeon if hes still around/working on it) is Lego Digital Designer a free download that lets you create almost any lego creation, you can also rotate your creation and view from different sides.

I'm guessing you can save the images and use them as well, I have had too much time to work on it.

I played a lot of this when I was a kid, down in the arcades on Brighton seafront. Man, arcades were something special back then, it's where my original interest in gaming came from as I didn't have a home computer for many years after they became fashionable. All my friends had Spectrums or C64s, but our family could never afford one. The first computer I owned was a hand-me-down Amiga 1000.

So arcades held a big fsacination for me and seeing this old Star Wars machine really brings back some memories

Ahh yeah, I already noticed some of those when I watched those films as a kid - Baloo and King Louis/Little John and Lady Cluck dancing, as well as the hands clapping in Snow White/Robin Hood. Maybe they ran out of animation thingys or something when they were making Robin Hood, as that seems to be the one with the most doubles...
