I think one flask contain amount of water comparing to full waterskin, so its good to fill one. Water/food/light system in DM was not invent to be frustrating, some peoples like this survival part.

This is probably a long shot as a lot of you probably played this some time ago. I have just dropped into a room where I have 4 black flames, one on each side. Each has an alcove behind it with bones in. Beside one of the alcoves is a wall hole which none of the others have so obviously this is the one to go for. But no matter how many Weaken Nonmaterial Beings spells I throw at it, nothing happens. Any help appreciated.

OK got it. I was trying to fight the Black Flame the wrong way. In the end I just used a normal weapon on it. Have now finished the game.
