Well maybe I sounded offending after all. Not the kind of answers I was expecting, for sure. Cheers.

Did I miss something? Why such a reaction to what has been written since your first comment on thisGambit37 wrote:It seems my being flippant has been misconstrued.
From now on, I shall refrain from posting anything relating to politics, even when it's just me being silly. It is clearly too difficult to make a silly comment without people either assuming something else, or that I was looking for a serious debate. I was not: I had simply watched a dumb video of Mitt Romney behaving like an ass, and in a moment of madness, posted my incredulity on here.
I forgot however that there are cleverer people than me on here who enjoy a debate -- and given that I had no time or intention to enter any such debate, I should have known better than to post a silly comment to begin with.
Lesson learned! Sorry all, I promise I won't do it again.

Re ZYX's comment, or lack thereof: You must have said a mouthful, without uttering a single syllable.

After all the prior disagreements I've seen on this DM format, surely most of us know the importance of friendship.
Nothing I've seen for a long time would cause me to desire an end of my friendship with any of you.
Er, even after you guys/gals told me Wuuf is a female. (Head bowed in shame, considering how I had been cross-dressing my favorite DM character)

Don't worry about it, it's all sorted via private messages.
Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
I guess I must have had a holiday over the weekend, forum drama happened. Not sure which causes which.
Thank you everyone for being mature in the weird turn of the discussions, cool it sounds like it's all been sorted out, I guess all I need to point out is the informal discussion forum was created to make even innocent comments regarding potentially volitile subjects. Might be an idea to move some of the posts from here to there in case anything from tonight makes anyone want to make further comments! :p

How dare you take a holiday. Anything like a vacation?
I did make mention of cross-dressing Wuuf.
Knowing your protective attitudes about that 'most famous' of DM characters, I hope I did not offend you.

I have to admit to sexing four legged mammals completely wrong as well... Especially serious when they can throw a Fireball at you!

Now that just sounds wrong
No offence taken MW :p

and even more so when your injured and they hold the only VI potions... which would be quite likely after facing a fireball...ian_scho wrote:I have to admit to sexing four legged mammals completely wrong as well... Especially serious when they can throw a Fireball at you!

After the character Wuuf coming up in the discussion, I keep getting this urge to start over on Conflux,
just so I can get Wuuf in my gang.

Oh sure, make the jump to an 'all-new' game more appetizing.beowuuf wrote:Find those shurikens and the beobow couls be yours!
P.S. Phoenix said: And with Wuuf you can get Werwuuf.
Hmmm. Now I wish I had known more about the 'how' of picking characters before I started Conflux.
I went back to my latest save on Conflux the other day (haven't played it for quite awhile), only to realize I'd forgotten almost all of the spells.

I know what you mean. I re-played CSB a month or so back after playing Conflux and thought I was losing it when none of the spells except light and stamina worked.

Hitting two wild pigs with the car tonight, I just realized again how sensible life is.
Fortunately it have been two really young ones, so damage is just the spoiler.
But I think it's a good idea to somehow comment my current DM2-works and hand it to some of you - one never knows when the heart attack strikes (in my age)

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
For any other game 'werwuuf' would sound like Phoenix making a joke... instead, it just makes me realise I need to playt Confluc again at some point soon!
And yes, I've had the fireball spell failing when integrating bak to normal DM after extended Conflux bouts!
And that's nasty Bit
Hope you weren't shaken too badly by it!

I still don't feel good about. There is hunting season here at the moment. And the only reason they passed the road was surely because those two little ones have been alone and had no idea about the danger. Now guess why. And that's why the hunter's insurance has to pay automatically for each collision!Ameena wrote:Were the piggies okay?
Grabbing the victims for the pan or the next restaurant is strictly forbidden - so - no free bacon.
Then again, there are really more and more here, and a dozen of them entered even the city park that year.
Another one jumped through a glass door into a cinema in a neighbour city. 3D plus!

"You smell that? Do you smell that? Pork sausage, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of pork sausage in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' hog body. The smell, you know that sausage grease smell, the whole hill. Smelled like … victory."

Sometimes one can really believe that the forces of evil have a plan...
Today we got workers in the house because of gas lacking somewhere.

If you meant leaking, then that's definitely not something you want to have happen. If it really is a lack of gas, well, that's still not good, but at least not necessarily deadly, of course getting cold could be a problem, depending on your climate.
Anyways, be it a leak or a lack, I hope the workers were able to fix the problem quickly.

No more workers - either it's fixed or too dangerous now.
And yes, I meant leaking. But then, this lacking gas has to be paid by someone. Fortunately not me - I asked...

Wheeee, I've got up this morning only to find it's snowed! Wasn't expecting that so suddenly! Okay so it hasn't snowed a lot, but it's actually started soming down pretty hard as I'm typing this. I've aleady checked once to see how the trains are doing but it doesn't look like there's any major problems on my line yet. Dammit

Yay. There's only a light dusting in Crystal Palace -- I'm hoping for a little more so I can go and play in it

Re: INN OF LOST SOULS: general chit-chat thread
Apparently there was some first thing this morning here in Basingstoke, but it did not look anything more than an occasional frost when I left for work.
However, there was enough chaos further out that tow people who take the train in from Farnborough couldn't make it in! Two hour delay and no information forthcoming meant they gave up trying
