Hi.
I am playing DM original and have got stuck on level 4 just beyond the wooden door that I smashed using the axe.
Basically I cannot move fast enough to get through the closing door after clicking on the teleport button. I think my problem is that my Right arrow key doesn't actually move me right but turns the party to face that direction. By the time I press that key then begin using the Up arrow to move I simply bang into the closing door.
Is it possible to remap the keys so I can move right directly? Or is there a cheat to get past this? Any help most appreciated as this is driving me crazy.

Re: mapping keys on GG version
You can edit the config file to map your keys. I don't use the arrow keys at all I have mine set to:
F for step forward
V for step back
D for turn left
G for turn right
C step left
B step right
So I would be pressing the G button to step to the right without turning my head.
Also, make sure you are not carrying too much which slows you down.

With a text editor.
Double click on the config.txt file, this shoulld open it with a text editor.
Another way: Click on Start / execute, type "notepad". This should lauch the basic windows text editor

I think the default keys in RTC are the lower (or possibly upper) six on the numpad. You can use the arrow keys but as you've discovered, they don't allow you to strafe.
