Hey Wuffy, haven't seen you in these parts for ages

.
It's been pretty warm here (or at least, no colder than "a bit chilly"). Warm. In December. Sigh. Maybe we'll wake up one morning in February to find the temperature suddenly disappeared overnight and everything has frozen over or something. Maybe?
I'm so glad I'm not working in retail any more - my partner has been saying how busy it's been where he works (a shop that sells all kinds of electrical/electronic stuff) but as I now work in an office (I work for a bank, at their head office dealing with the post and stuff so no customer interaction at all, woohoo!) I don't have to worry about any of that any more. And it also means I don't have to walk past all the shops spouting all their Christmas everything. Today I only have to go in for about two hours, then I can come home again and tomorrow we can finally all find out what's under the wrapping paper of the big pile of objects under the tree in our house

.
We don't really do much for Christmas - open prezzies in the morning, then do whatever, then have Christmas lunch, then more of doing whatever, then Christmas tea, then watch the Christmas Doctor Who, then more of doing whatever and then we go to bed. Nice that we get four days off in a row this year, what with it being over a weekend and stuff

.
Everyone have a good time even if you think Christmas is bollocks
