It is looking really good I ahd just a couple of comments:
Someone else (on the other DM message board) was working with making a new version with new graphics, all the data files were txt files and the pics were bmp. Your name (I believe) was listed in those txt files, just wondering where that project lies in relation to this one... when this one is done will i be able to make my own images and edit them in ms paint? Make my own levels in notepad? Thanks.
Great job!

Re: Great job!
The other clone you saw was indeed also written by me and uses a similar engine to RTC. The data1.dat etc. files for RTC are just binary versions of the text files. Once I've got a definitive format for RTC then I'll convert it to run of plain text files (like the NewDM clone) and yes, you will be able to make any modifications you like!

Great job!
Sweet!! I was messing around with the very early version of the text one and liked how easy it was to customize etc. Keep up the good work!

Great job!
I was noticing on some other topics the mention of 50% transparency. When I was messing with your newDM I was using bitmaps and the (hidous) pink color for transparency. How is 50% transparency defined? Is it a setting in some of the txt files in your newer engine? Thanks for the help!

Re: Great job!
Yes it's a new setting not present in the NewDM text files I'm afraid. The magenta transparency is 100% in both - the 50% is something else entirely!
