Re: Dungeon Master Encyclopaedia 25th anniversary
Hi Christophe,
Happy 25th Anniversary and congratulations on the redesign of the Dungeon Master Encyclopaedia web site! I like the way the front page of the site has images from various games in the series and generally found navigating the new site to be intuitive. However, for the subpages for individual games on the site, you may want to consider renaming the "Solutions" submenu on the left-hand side of the page to "Game References and Solutions" - it wasn't immediately obvious to me that this section of the menu is where I could find references such as the list of Champions you can use in the game.

Re: Dungeon Master Encyclopaedia 25th anniversary
Hey wow, I was not expecting that! I was just looking on the site yesterday with the old design. The new site looks great, well done, it must have been a lot of work! Did you change CMS? I'm very grateful you're now using readable URLs instead of those weird old node numbers...
I'll have a dig around when I get some time.
Congrats on 25 years, what an amazing achievement! There aren't many websites that have been around that long.

No more Drupal CMS, the site is now static and built with Hugo.
URL rewriting is not possible on the host, that's why they used node numbers. (I configured redirections though so that the old URLs would still lead to the appropriate new pages)

Ah, a static site, nice! I love the simplicity of SSGs. I'm using Zola for all my new projects, I tried Hugo a few years back but found some of it a bit weird.
I had a quick look at the new DMweb and it looks like you've added loads of new content. There's stuff there I've never seen before, like the Interplay Survival Kit and some of those DM2 flyers and leaflets. The translation here is really interesting! http://dmweb.free.fr/games/dungeon-mast ... on/flyers/
It's amazing that you're still finding new stuff after all these years. My energies for DM have rather run out if I'm honest, so I'm absolutely thrilled that you've continued to do this preservation. Thank you for everything you've done for our favourite old game. ❤

There's room left for even more content if you want to contribute
One of the tasks in my todo list is to translate more Japanese texts. There were lots of interesting pieces published in Japanese magazines for example.

As you're able to now translate Japanese text, I do have some of the Japanese books that you're missing scans for. I think (but I''m not sure without looking in a storage box in the attic), that I have all these from your missing contents list:ChristopheF wrote: Thu Oct 24, 2024 4:48 pm There's room left for even more content if you want to contribute![]()
ダンジョン・マスターファンブック (Dungeon Master Fan book) (Super Famicom)
ダンジョン・マスターのすべて (All About Dungeon Master)
ダンジョン・マスター百科フィーチャリングセロンズクエスト (Encyclopedia Dungeon Master featuring Theron's Quest)
小説ダンジョン・マスター (Dungeon Master Novel)
小説ダンジョン・マスターll (Dungeon Master II Novel)
However I can't make any promises on when I might be able to scan those, I have months of work ahead of me on other projects. I'll try and do it at some point in the future.

I have these books too but scanning them takes so much time... Your time would be better spent sorting out the interviews I would say.
