ESB Feature Requests
Cheeky future ESB feature request: could you implement a keystroke like Ctrl+T to invoke Test>Test in DSB? And, potentially have it close an existing DSB instance at the same time, if one is running?

Re: DSB Version 0.84
Not sure if this is the right way to request things, and also, not sure you may even want to hear requests at this point!... if DSB/ESB development is not really what you want to do any longer. Can I drop requests here? Just let me know if not! Totally understand and apologies in advance if this is bad form. Many thanks.
Was wondering in addition to the above request:
- Can ESB implement a 'recently used files' on the File dropdown menu?
- Can ESB be set to open in the middle of the monitor? Right now mine appears towards top left, and I tend to then have to move it into a positon that suits my desktop arrangement / setup better.
- Or, can ESB remember the window size / extent / position, so when it loads, it retains previous extent?
- Can the Things/Objects/etc menu on the left be resized and retain it's revised width whilst docked? Currently it's width can be adjusted when it's floated, but loses it when docked.
- Could floating menus retain a position relative to the ESB window extent? Ie if the window is moved or resized, the floating menus follow it / retain position?
- Could the level number be displayed somewhere more prominently? Appreciate the coordinates have a number denoting level (1,24,32 etc)
And, thanks for all the amazing work with DSB

Re: ESB Feature Requests
I've split these posts off to their own thread, which is how I'd prefer requests to be made. I don't mind hearing them but I'm not going to promise anything.
Re: ESB Feature Requests
If there's a thread here for it then could I add requests for:
* a find an inst by ID number. At the moment I do a bunch of: find I need to know about inst #51342, load up the dungeon in a text editor and look up inst 51342 to get the coordinates, go back to ESB and go to those coordinates
* would it be difficult to make the Find Insts (by type) dialog non-modal?
All caveats wrt when and if anything might happen are noted. Thanks for all your work on DSB/ESB regardless of whether these tweaks ever happen.
Hmm. I was never able to get DSB to compile, but I should have another go with ESB 'cause that doesn't have the obnoxious sound libraries...
