Poison cloud
I created some poison clouds and I realized that even biggest cloud takes only 1 health point per turn. In DM it took about 6-8 point when cloud was powerful. I also think it lasts too long. But the effect with transparencty is great!

Re: Poison cloud
In RTC all clouds take off about (it's random) 1 point every 0.4 seconds. The more powerful clouds last longer rather than cause more damage (per second). If there are two clouds then each will cause damage seperately (the room with the Diamond edge will be lethal!).
Personally I prefer it this way, but realise that it is different to DM; what do people think about changing it?

Re: Poison cloud
Monsters run off too fast and freeze life effects are too quick to make a longer cloud any more effective than the shorter version - personally I'd prefer the larger damage too for bigger clouds.
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Poison clouds
Well, I suppose to justify it we could say that a low level poison cloud is thin.. I mean it's small and you don't breath in as much of the fumes.. however a full powerd cloud is thick and large you have no choice but to take a lung full as there is nothing else to breathe.
So it would sort of make sence to make the larger cloud cause more dammage.

Re: Poison clouds
OK - I've added this into the code last night. A full power poison cloud does about 7 points of damage per second, and the lowest about 1 point. As time passes the strength of a cloud slowly decreases so will gradually do less and less damage per second until it drops to none at which point it disappears (i.e. a full power cloud after about a minute is identical to a low power one).
