bug survival

I thought the key buffering bug was solved?
I still move infinitely if I press down an arrow key.

Yeah, this still annoys me. It appears to have been changed, but only by adding a delay so that it's no longer possible to whizz through a level superfast...

Congrats on the big 200! Key buffering is odd - i think it needs to be tweaked so that an additional stroke gets buffered. Especially when a party is moving slowly not being able to keep up the ciontinuous presses feels odd
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

200 posts - but I'm still only Fanatical. :(

In DM, there was no buffering at all, which was my original complaint about RTC. You pressed the key to move forward, and could keep it held down, but the party would still only move one square forward. You'd have to release the key and press it again to move forward again. I prefer that because it gives you more control over the party.

I prefer no buffering also.
I've always been able to remember my way around in an RPG game, so when I needed to rest in DM I was always automatically able to look at the keyboard instead of the screen and just whack about 40 or 50 directional keys in a row very fast and know exactly where I was in the dungeon when I looked back at the screen - great for getting to safety. However, if the game had had buffering and one of those keystrokes had come out twice, I would've ended up totally lost :(
