Just me?

Post by amaprotu »

I turned off both prescaling and anti aliasing.

I got down to the second level and proceeded to the frst room (Guardian?) well I'm not the greatest and I forgot to save, so one of my characters died. By this time I was already notcing slow downs in mouse movement. As I ran back to the serurection place it got slower and slower to move. Until I was crawling it seems the last few squares.

Once I had got there and resurected the character, it was still moving slow so I saved it and used alt-tab to get to windows. I then ran the Resource meter and all my resources were at about 50% give or take a percent or two. I went back into the game and quit. All my resources immediatly jumped into the 90s.

It seems to me there is a memory leak somewhere in the prescaling. When I started there was no slow down and at all and it ran perfectly fine. If I check the resources when I just start a game system and GDI are at about 50% but user is at about 80%. Hm if could just be me though, I have had other unique problems running other versions of the game.

Performance

I have noticed that mouse response is a little more 'mushy and swaying' in this version which is making it harder to play than previous versions... and that's with prescaling ON and anti-aliasing OFF.
