type: difference from dm/bug
property: non-activation of pad
priority: high
The mummy pads in 'you will regret this' do not activate on the mummy's death, so you can't get to level 5 ! : (

IMPORTANT pad bug, v0.09 (maybe 0.08)
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Re: IMPORTANT pad bug, v0.09 only
The dungeon packaged with version 0.08 does not have this pad problem.

How do you know this? In 0.08 you can't get past the falling portcullis so how did you get to the end of the level?

Just got to that bi, and I concur that this does not work so it's impossible to progress....

Re: IMPORTANT pad bug, v0.09 (maybe 0.08)
The door bug is because of the engine in 0.08, so you can get passed it easily using the 0.08 saved game in 0.09

Well, I think it makes more sense to stick with complete versions while testing - if we start mixing save games between versions, posting bugs could end up a huge mess, and I don't think George would appreciate it.

For this instance only, then feel free to continue on. Just use the 0.09 code to get past the door on the worm level, then switch back to the 0.08 code to contine on with the game! In general though, it's clearly a bad idea, but here, the versions are so similar to each-other that it doean't make alot of difference.
Unfortunately the bug with the mummy pad is probably in the save game file and so to remove it you'll all have to start again. I'll try and make the next release have a definitive file format though so that any future releases of the code will be compatible with it.
There's an outside chance that I'll be able to fix it at the weekend, but don't hold out much hope for that (I'm currently moving house so bits of computer are in boxes!), but you never know...
