type: differences to DM
properties: monster actions and general
priority: low
Gigglers - they still hang around after stealing an item, making them easy to kill
Black flames - they absorbed fireballs in DM
Level 10, 'beware my twisted humour...' - the teleporters here buzz, giving the game away
Level 5, 'store rooms' - the slime here drops a club, when in DM it dropped a VEN bomb
Generators - freeze life effects seem to block monsters being generated, when in DM they didn't

Dm differences (v0.08save)
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

Re: Dm differences (v0.08save)
Gigglers - hmm; will have to look into that
Flames - didn't know that - I'll put it in (at some pont)
Slimes - I think the object dropped depends on which version of the game you're playing. RTC is based on the PC version (where a club is dropped); perhaps the ST and/or Amiga versions were different?
Generators - Really? How can you tell?

There's not stupid, they will run, but they will usually stay for a few items first - in DM they would steal, run a few spaces, then run back for another..making them harder to hit.
It's the PC version I've played most recently, and I've never seen the club being dropped by that slime...odd. I just checked through DMute and it says ven bomb, (= strength).
As for the generators, there are the two in the spider trap so I always use a freeze life on entering, and also I needed to get to the shorter corridor on Chaos's level, so used a freeze life there, which stopped black flames from springing up.

Re: Dm differences (v0.08save)
Clubs / Ven...Hmmm (again) could be that the slimes ate turning into those blue ogres (as reported elsewhere) before dying - which explains why a club is left. The obvious question is of course, why
I'm confused about the generators now - are you saying that DM *did* freeze generators or that RTC does (and shouldn't).

Re: Dm differences (v0.08save)
DM didn't freeze generators, RTC does.
