interesting bug with throwing items

I just got past the 'you shall not pass' door that you have to bash and I was going through the chest when along comes a screamer.

Well, I'm on the other side of the teleporter and I throw the scoll fromt he chest at him with the the pointer it flies into the teleporter and blasts past it over it's head. Odd.. I hit the action icon for syra to throw her dagger and this two passes over it's head.

this seems to be a problem similar to the monster moving but not getting hit bug. The flying dagger should hit the creature but since it simple apears on the square rather than moving to the square it doesn't hit.

I know why it is happening (well sorta) but I don't think it should be happening. This is a bug right?
