I wish... ;-)

Although I did do some stuff to RTC last weekend, but there's a little way to go until the next release - hopefully much less than another month though...

We have to be patient! I'm as eager as you are to start creating dungeons :)

You should be out in the sun, not worrying about the next release of RTC. Still, I can't talk, what with working on my DM website and helping out on RTC from time to time... I'm sure it won't be long now until the next version.

To Gambit: How is the site coming along anyway?

To Amaprotu: Enjoy the moments before the RTC release, having unfettered flights of fancy without having to start worrying about the constraints of what will be available. I'm trying to work out if a shaking giant's castle would be doable atm : )
And also, there is more to life than RTC...there's DMute! Join in the fun of a team work dungeon over on Iain's forum - still three levels plus the ending up for grabs!
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Potentially it could be the week after next or so. I've got a little more to do, but it's essentially all there now.

the fountains

Post by cowsmanaut »

I don't know if you read my email yet but since part of it relates to the game I'll put that part here..

The fountains I did (remember them?) have 3 frames of animated water. Will you have support for them yet? And will walls be available yet for override?

Oh and one last thing I mentioned it before.. but, in the dungeon you have moss and water.. the moss you made translucent and the water opaque.. should not that be the other way around?

that's all for now

The next version of RTC won't support framed object animation, but perhaps the next one might. A similar answer goes for the wall graphics over-ride (both require considerable amounts of code re-writing to achieve).

As for the water moss thing; yes I agree, it should be the other way round, but I tired it and it looks silly. It's better the current way!
