If you pick up an item for your mouse pointer whose whight is enough to make the encumbrance of your party leader yellow and drop it into the inventory of another character (not your party leader), the party leaders's encumbrance will stay yellow anyway and your movement is slowed until you pick up and drop again anyone item from the leaders inventory.

Wasn't this fixed in v0.13? Or was that something different - I seem to remember something about the encumberance settings only being updated every 15 seconds???
