Rock piles
Rock Piles should not absorb items thrown at them. I threw some clubs and arrows and it was absorbet by rock piles (and released when they died). But some monsters (I remember Rock Piles and Deth Knights) should not absorb items.
Re: Rock piles
But they did so in FTL-DM also, if I remember correctly.

Re: Rock piles
Rock piles and knights did....well, at least the rock piles did, I've lots things liek arrows.
There could have been some higher chance they wouldn't....but there was definitely a chance. Will investigate further...

Re: Rock piles
you do lose them.. however only if they are thrown when they are attacking.. I think the idea was they sawllowed them.. I'm positive I've lost arrows, daggers and rocks to the rock piles before.. but as I said.. only when they were there with their big mouth open.

Re: Rock piles
As far as I remember NO monsters could absorb for example clubs (and rock piles - and maybe other monsters too - does in RTC).
Re: Rock piles
As to the attacking/arrow mystery..once again no...tried throwing by hand and firing with speedbow...nothing stuck
Can try a few daggers and things, but maybe it's jus tthat those buggers never move, and sometimes they are standing right on your arrowso you can't see it *shrug*
Odd though, i'm still expecting to get a few catches...
