Hi there Boris, welcome to the forum!

The lag you mentioned seems to be directly related to the speed of your PC. On my old P1 233Mhz mouse lag was terrible in RTC, but on my new(ish) AMD 1900XP there's no mouse lag at all. What system are you running on?

You could also try using the keyboard (456,123 on the number pad) to move around the dungeon; that can be a lot quicker than using the mouse and might get you through the force field!

I'm still using an old AMD 1 GHz for RTC and it works fine. So what machine are you using, Boris, and do you have much other progs running beside RTC? Is the movement lag with mouse movement only or also with keyboard? And do you use the current version of RTC, which is V.024 ?
One last question: Did you make sure that there are no inplay-reasons for being slow, like some party member having a wound, being hurt or tired or overloaded?

well thx fior the friendly welcome :-)

im running an amd xp200 (1.67ghz) 512mb ddr ram.

The lag is on both keyboard & mouse & now that you mention it , it might be an injury causing the lag.

aha!

just loaded it up and saw just about every body part of my chars is injured and all were encumbered!

I took of the weight and made the double step easy as pie many thz all :-)

One last question on this topic then: how can i relieve my chars of their injuries? i mean they are full health but still have injuries... can i heal them completely, injuries and all?

thx :-D

you need to cast a healing potion - with an empty flask in your hand, press one of the symbols for power, then the second symbol (a wavy = sign) - one healing potion
That will cure usually one wounded part for less pwoerful potions, more for powerful potions or powerful priests

I personally find CSB even more addictive, especially when playing with your old DM veterans.
