Hacked Items

OK relax. I'm not going to beg for someone to tell me how to hack the games to acquire these items. Instead I'm going to put forward a few points...

1.> FTL love challenges and love challenging their game playing public. This is evident with the many secret "easter egg" items and secrets they have included in DM and CSB (items, characters etc).

2.> Included in the tricks and tips section is the Halk Gonzo Barbarian secret. This involves changing a file name. There are various items that you can include in your game by hacking.

3.> Other secrets involve combining the Firestaff and the Power Gem then going back to the entrance of the dungeon and the mystical "kids dungeon". Secrets like this and the "look through the entrance door" secret can be found without hacking and are a part of the game. They have eventually been found by experimentation with the elements of the game.

My main point is this...

Can the previously unavailable hacked elements be found in the game?

Complex experimentation with the spells or combinations of items in certain or secret areas may produce other secrets.

I know no-one has yet been able to "un-lock" these elements but that doesn't mean they are unavailable through the game itself.

Remember Everest was still the tallest mountain in the world before it was discovered!
