Increasing Ones skill

Post by Grant (PanamaKID) »

Okay, so its like 10yrs plus since I played and I can't be expected to remember everything, right?

To increase ones level, is simpe repitition the best thing, or does practicing higher level spells speed up the process ?

Does the same apply to swinging a weapon as apposed to chopping with a weapon to increase one's skill set ?

Your devine wisdom is sought!

You need double the experience for each level, and you get more experience for high level spells.
Check out the CSB4win forum, as one or two things about experience were discovers by Djarcas when looking at the code.
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

A BIG factor in building skill is to perform the actions while in combat. You get double the experience points. Best way to do it is to find some creature generator (preferably something not too lethal, and that regenerates at a reasonably frequent interval) and wail away on it while doing whatever else you want to practice. (Doesn't really matter if you wail on it as long at it wails on you.)
