getting kicked out
Have any of you had the problem of playing the PC Dungeon Master and all of a sudden getting kicked out because the computer is trying to read from my start up disk. I am running on Windows Me. It is quite obnoxious because it happens every minute or so. All of a sudden I hear my floppy drive spinning and I'm back at the command prompt. The saved game I am playing has been altered by Dmute but only the player skill numbers, not the dungeon. Maybe this is why...

Ian:
Yep I am having the same problem with Win ME using the DOS boot disk. I thought it might be the logitech wireless mouse that I am using that causes the problem. The minute that I move the mouse after loading a previouslly saved game I get kicked back as you discribe. I don't have a clue as to what is causing this but I hope someone does. BTW-I also used DMute to change the characters mana etc.

Re: getting kicked out
So why not try running it without editing any attributes and seeing what happens? (if you haven't tried that already that is)
Re: getting kicked out-Problem Solved?
Since I was just again starting the game (first time on ME) I thought the problem might be with the doot disk getting corrupted somehow so I downloaded and installed again. The problem seems to have disapeared at least for now. I have changed the attributes without any problem--now if only there was a fix out there to get sound I would be a happy camper.
