I have downloaded the super characters thing from this site. It is a .RAR file, and i havce no idea how to uncompress it/open it, ect. WHAT DO I DO???

As explained on the downloads page, you can go to http://www.rarlab.com to download a free UnRAR utility.

i did go to it and i downloaded unrar, but how do i extract it using the unrar software? when i drag the item to it, up pops a screen, and i am guessing it might be extracting it, but as soon as it stops, it closes and tells me nothing. When the window pops up, it goes by so fast that you cant even tell what it did...that was my real problem, sorry for being so incomplete with my information!!

You have to go into the msdos command prompt before executing unrar (it's probably a console-based extraction tool afaik)

You could also search your hd for the extracted save game file.
