Comparative Armour/Weapon Values?

Is it possible by hex editing the game or whatever it is creators of programs like DMute do to create a list of values for how well different pieces of armour, and different weapons protect you?

For example, is a Plate of Darc any better than Plate of Lyte? Leather Boots or Suede Boots?

Hardcleave or Inquisitor?

I did notice a simple chart in the dungeon master hint book, but I wondered if there were any actual solid numbers available.
