I found an Atari Saved Game

This is the first time I've visited the site. After completing DM in '87 I nipped back up to the 4th floor to practice. The saved game has the following stats:

ZED 999(health) 670(stamina) 308(mana)
fighter- master 5th
ninja - master 5th
priest - master 6th
wizard - master5th

DAROOU 999(health) 811(stamina) 314(mana)
fighter - master 5th
ninja - master 4th
priest - master 6th
wizard - master5th

WUUF 999(health) 661(stamina) 353(mana)
fighter - master 5th
ninja - master 4th
priest - ARCHMASTER
wizard - master 6th

BORIS 999(health) 872(stamina) 346(mana)
fighter - master 5th
ninja - master 4th
priest master 6th
wizard - ARCHMASTER

According to my records Wuuf's 3rd to 4th master level took eleven and a half hours continually kicking a wall (no wonder I gave up 999!)

Are these levels high or have other obssessives gone further?

It would be interesting to know from you.

you get faster lvl ups if u lvl at deeper caves (the rat regeneration room for example)
you also get faster lvl ups, if u hit monsters with fighter/ninja attacks.
my best one had about 820 life and was a = master in all 4 arts (i played solo this one).

Dear Amber,

I'm sorry, I didn't know how to find my letter on the site until tonight, normally I reply within 48 hours. I seem to remember the rats, how long would it take to practice up using the rats (in real time?) Presently I'm revisiting the game with a friend and we're on level 5 but have thrown away the bow and can't find it for the alcove, any suggestions?

You could use DMute (see the downloads section), it has an oject find function - since it will be on a floor you've already been to then you won't be spoiling it for yourself looking in the editor : )
