Here's a tip from me, for those who are as unpatient as I am, and who have problems walking through corridors that look always the same:) (my solution requires Adobe Photoshop or similar program that can use layers... and a little bit of graphical nowledge <journeyman graphician, lol>)
I was unable to print maps from this site, so I decided to download them. I have created a graphic file that consisted of many layers, each one containing a picture of a map of one level. Then I have got layers sorted in the way the dungeon gets deeper. Each map on a layer has to be positioned to match the upper and lower level coordinates. If it's all done so - then you can start to use a map by hiding and revealing layers. No more matching coordinates on scraps of paper and no more waiting for the level to download from internet.
My idea helped me a lot as I have no sense of direction in the dundeons, and every wall looks like the other one.
You have to be aware of a few things about using Photoshop and DM simultaneously:
-on slow machines switching between programs may take a while (most of the time I played DM in windowed mode with Photoshop running in background so I could see the map)
-it is still needed to use a website to get a whole description of levels.
Have fun (or is it no fun when you know what you're looking for?)...

Re: For those who need a beeter map
I got an idea for a new contest. Take some paper and draw all maps from DM by heart, with your eyes closed. Yeah, go!
Re: For those who need a beeter map
How do you have DM windowed? I didn't think you could override the full screen mode of running a DOS game
What I did when I was mapping level decorations for RTC was i captured DMute screens, and then ran the .jpg files through ACDC, so you can cycle through the levels by just moving back and forward
Because DMute has the co-ordinates, I'm sure I could have created 50x50 maps drawings with each level lined up

Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!
