question about training

I have a question about training in wizardry and priest skills.
When i will throw for example magic torch spell with power 4 (Ee) then i gather xp four times bigger than power 1 magic torch? or xp depends on mana used to cast spell? or from spell type?

it depends on the mana (afaik) and on the depth of the dungeon. the deeper, the more exp.
with the power runes, im not sure, but you get the best experience when you cast the spells with the highest rune your chars are able to.
