About magic, magic torch and empty flasks

Post by Maldoror »

What' s going on!

i can't cast magic on my PC version!

When i try to make a magic torch with my ninja/wizard "chewbacca", nothing hapends (i'm on the top of level 2 stairs).Must i need a burned out torch? must the torch be in my hand? on the ground? i use the powerless rune "Lo" and after "Ful". I cast the spell and ...nothing.
does my level be too poor?

And when i try to full an empty flask with my priest "hawk", with the spell "Lo","Vi", nothing hapends too! must the flask be in my hand? on the ground?

Yahrg! HELP!

Somebody could explain me slowly how to do?

thanks

And i know a man whithout magic in a dungeon is a dead man....

P.S. This website seems to be a french website!(the author got a french name and the adress is a ".fr"), so... where is the french version for french people like me?

Wellcome!!
Its very surprising for me to read the name "Maldoror", because its the name I like to choose very often ;-) ...its very rare to meet people, who know "Maldoror" AND play DM

When you have played D.M. a few times, you may wish to attempt to complete it with only one figure, and not use any magic at all, as I have.
