Can't interact with walls and fountains

I am running the DM and CSB for windows and linux
The game seems to working well except I cant knock on walls and I cant drink directly from fountains. I can fill an empty waterskin and drink from that but it is a pain in the ass

DM & CSBforWin (and linux?) are based on the ST version.

Knock on walls??

If you click the mouse on solid walls you get a solid knocking sound
If they are imaginary then your hand pointer disappears
You have to do this about 1/4 of the way down the walll

Lol, me neither until someone mentioned it on this board when i first came here : )
Let's face it, that area of the wall tends to be useless so you never usually click there until there is a switch : )

This feature wasn't on all versions, maybe when you did try to click on a wall it didn't bang so you gave up.
I believe it works in the amiga 3.6 and PC versions, none other.
