When you get bitten by a Purple Worm, or what ever they are called, sometimes a part of your body turns red, does anyone know what this does? and if its Curable?

Yes, drink one of the healing potions available in the game or create one for yourself by giving an empty flask into a hand of one of your priests an making him cast a Vi-healing-potion to cure wounds or a ViBro-antidote to cure poison. See Spells on this Site at http://dmweb.free.fr/DMSpells.htm or better read the manual at http://dmweb.free.fr/DMManual.htm and the hint book at http://dmweb.free.fr/DMAdventurersHandbook.htm .

What this injury does is limits the preformance of the area affected. Hand damage makes your attacks do less damage. Foot damage makes your champion walk slower, and so on.

Ok, thanks alot.
So, drinking a magic potion, will fix this problem? I thought It might go away with time, so I made that person carry as little as possible, including nessacary equipment such as Weapons and Armor, and waited for it to go away, but it never did.. lol
