Hello,
I'm currently writing a book on computer game design for Charles River Media publications. I would like to include screen shots from Dungeon Master, but I can't seem to find who owns the rights to it now. Can any of you help me?
Thank you,
Sheri

Re: Who owns the rights?
Wayne Holder still owns the rights to DM, but he is uncontactable. However, some ex-FTL people look at this board from time to time so they may be abel to help you.
BTW, I think it's fine to use screenshots as they wouldn't be protected by copyright. Only the original works are protected; not 100% sure about this though.

Re: Who owns the rights?
Actually, screenshots are protected as well.
I have all the official forms from my publisher that the person with the rights has to sign. <G> I sure hope I can find someone who can help me. I'd hate to have to leave DM out!!

Re: Who owns the rights?
there is just ONE screenshot included with George's 6MB of files when you download the RTC pack
it is titled mainview and shows your view as you enter the dungeon from champions' hall
it would be cool to "borrow" from other emulators with an F10 key that pushes out a screenshot to your desktop anytime you like
ok so George's efforts are not emulators before anybody returns fire, true but the F10 is not there is it ? I guess for the reason stated above, that we don't have permission :-)
