Sound on a Laptop

Post by Cokecan »

Anyone know where I can get the Yamaha OPL3-SAx sound driver for DOS?

It's an older Toshiba 330CDS running Windows 98. I'd like to be able to run sound in DM2...

Thanks!

(Toshiba and Yahama no longer carry the driver.. I was hoping someone had a link to an old driver archive or has the driver themselves.)

Entering "opl3-sax" into google got me lots of references, including:

http://www.support.brio.hp.com/briosupp ... s.exe.html

Which claims to be an OPL3-SAx driver for MS-DOS

i actually have the drivers cause that's my card, i'll try to hut them down and put them somewhere if you don't have luck
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

Paul - Thanks, that one seems to work only if the OPL-SAx card is in an HP machine. Didn't find the card in the Toshiba laptop.

Beowuuf - If you can find that driver, that would be great! Still have had no luck.

Thanks!
