"Activated by" list

Hello, I've trying to use the list of objects in the "Activated by"

1) There's a mispell:
MAIC BOX->MAGIC BOX

2) Bones party: could you differentiate
Bones party 1st,Bones party 2nd,Bones party 3rd,Bones party 4th.
I know the space is already reserved for these 4 items and that CSBwin would only recognize a Bones (party) without minding about which character it belongs (in the "activated by" situation). Just how time costy would it be to you to fix this in CSBwin ?


3) There is twice "fine robe". i guess you should precise "top" and "bottom"


4) These potions can't be made by spells, they must be added by the dungeon designer, and they're not drinkable. I was wondering if you planned to implement them, at least to make them drinkable like a flask of water, or explosive like a ful bomb.
DES POTION
KATH BOMB
MON POTION(BLUE)
PEW BOMB
RA BOMB
SAR POTION
UM POTION
ZO POTION


5) OPEN SCROLL
Does this mean that a pressure pad would only be activated if a character has a scroll in his hand? (this is the only way to obtain an open scroll in the game. But I think it is possible, by design, to add an "always opened" scroll)


6) The comboboxes should be in "dropdown list mode", that is, you can't edit them and when you press a key you automaticly select the first item beginning with this letter.
Right now, I can write anything and press ok. This way I obtain an illegal object.

are not in the graphics file. They don't show
up when you pick them up.

know? I would avoid it for now. Let us worry
about this when my pile of 3x5 cards is smaller.

6)Dropdown combo boxes...

There are only about a hundred of these!!!
I know that I often forget to change them to
'dropdown' boxes. So can you tell me which
ones I forgot? In which dialogs?

Here are the incriminated combos:

a) When inserting a new object:
(Edit cell->new)
b) When editing a champion portrait
c) When editing door properties
d) When editing clothing
e) When editing disabled actuator
f) The "monster type" combo when editing monsters properties
g) and h) "position" and "graphic" combos when editing a pressure pad and when editing a and/or gate
i) "position" and "wall graphic" combos when editing a pushbutton
j) the 3 combos when editing an object holder
k) "wall graphic" combo when editing a counter
l) the "Predefined object" and "magic spell" combos when editing a shooter



4)
And this is the list of special potions you cannot add with CSBuild in the dungeon, but figure in the "activated by" list:

6) Dropdown versus List

4) The two potions ZO and SAR are the only real 'stable' element, in that they are fully definted in the graphics.dat (dungeon, carried and inventory views), aswell as having activation codes

5) Many items in the activation list have spaces for their alternate states (you can see this in DMbuild as Sphenx has included them). They are currently useless. For example the first slot for a compass or torch is the only one that activates, and activates on any state. But there is enough slots after for the various directions and burned states
Similarly chests (closed, opened - can't create an naturally open chest yet), scrolls (open and closed, open scrolls can be placed in the dungeon that don't close until viewed), party bones (each member), chraged and discharged staff of claws, fury, flammit, etc...

I don't know if this would ever be a suggestion in the future, to allow these instances to be included (for example zyx had a puzzle that needed the fbones of the first two members of the party, it didn't work that way as any party bones would trigger the puzzle).

About 5), the problem is that you would need a supplementary slot for "no specific state". Right now only the compasses states are reproductible as there is a kind of pressure pad that is activated by the direction the party is facing.
The party bones would be important to be distinguished, though.

It seems to me that there is unused hex higher up the scale

So for example a 4/84 pressure pad doesn't use suplimentaries, but a 13/93 only uses the correct state

So 84 14 (or whatever the bolt blad hex is) would trigger any state of bolt blade, but 93 14 would only trigger for the charged version, and so on

I've just realised how to find out open chest hex...brb

Never mind, false alarm

Though the illuminet's alternate state is caused by a a 40 in the fourth byte
