Some more fonts problems

Post by Zyx »

Some more fonts problems:

In the DSA designing screen:
The grid containing the actions have several problems of display:
1) There is an almost useless horizontal scrollbar, because the content of the grid is some millimeters wider than the window.
2) The numbers and letters in the grid don't coincide with the lines of the grid.
3) If I click on a cell, I have to click several pixels lower than the place it is displayed to select it. The distance grows bigger for lower cells.
4) Is there a way to navigate between the cells with the cursor arrows?
5) When I scroll vertically the grid, some gaps between the lines appear, and some lines are partially displayed.

(from another thread) :
6) Several windows with fixed borders are slightly too small.
Namely, the "Edit character window" and "Choose Target window".

1) through 5)

This was a struggle. That is a hand-drawn table and presumes
a particular font. I will try to fix the problems you see. I spent
a lot of time trying to use the standard tools but they all died
because of the number of cells in the table.

I really don't want to redesign that page unless there is a
really good (better than what I have) way to do it. I am open
for suggestions.

4) No way to use cursor arrows. Maybe in September you
should ask again if this is important.

6) Too small windows.

Already got it. This is the eleventh card in my stack.
