I find it amazing that even though both DM and the Amiga have been gone officially for ever that even now stuff is being developed in a language originally made on Amiga, long live Blitz, DM/CSB and AMIGA.

sorry to say this. but amiga is not dead. The OS is still being updated and the computers still being built. New ones to boot.

I seem to be hearing about the AmigaOne which sounds like from descriptions as the new Amiga.. have not seen a pic yet though.

but the OS and software is still going strong

I didn't mean to imply death of the Amiga, merely it's demise. I still use OS3.9 myself on both my "real" 030 blizzard powered A1200 and my UAE. I like the idea that Blitz has survived on the PC, I just wanted to point out the fact that Amiga products are still going strong too. :D
