When creating an RTC dungeon, how and where do I specify each level's experience multiplier?

You don't ;-)

RTC doesn't use experience multipliers, I believe that's an internal attribute from the original DM engine. RTC calculates all experience modificztions on the fly based on your dungeons contents.

Hm. So I have no way of making a designated training area that eases the increase of stats for the players? You're not even willing to give a rough outline what it is that makes levels "more complicated"? Is is just monster numbers, traps, certain items, the presence of Chaos? Ok, I think I know the answer... had to try, though.

its probably a fair assumption that level depth has a weighting factor, so stick a small corner in a deep level...with chaos and a dragon just to be sure : )

I guess it will come down to trying it out... making a multiple level-dungeon once with the editor and sticking in various amounts of monsters in each level for starters... and see how many hits are necessary to rise a level from nothing.

not even monsters to start with incase that tips it - just a high mana character and a few simple options, like punch, warcry and light spells

in DM lower levels those can be instant level-ups!

As it's christmas I'll give you a clue, level number (i.e. depth has nothing to do with it). If it had then doing a CSB (where you start in the middle) or DM2 (where you start at the bottom) wouldn't work...

hmm, the engine just ups the experience modifier every time you go to a fresh level?

Ooooh - I like days of the week. Could be interesting ;-)

If you attack screamers on a Tuesday (and when there's a full moon...of course) then you get double the experience you would when fighting a dragon on a Sunday. Stands without reason...

You can still try to get the "First day of the new year and I stood up before noon" bonus, which only applies if the last pit you passed had moss on it's western end...
