RTCED BUG: Cancelling item placement/object vault

Post by Gambit37 »

Ver: 0.1 Alpha rev 0.7
Bug: Not a bug as such, but bad design: If you select any item from the object vault, then change your mind and decide to place something else, you can't do anything with the Vault until you place the current item in the dungeon.

I think it should be designed so that

a) If you select something else in the vault, the item attached to the mouse cursor automatically changes
b) You can cancel item placement by pressing Esc

You already can hit ESC to cancel the item placement. And yep, it will be in the next release for the changing the object that you are placing.

Ah, just discovered Esc. The reason I hadn't noticed it was because the mouse was over the vault when I did it, and the item was hidden behind...
