With the advent of DmExtract and Edit, I was wondering if anyone were working on new graphics.dat files to add a new dimension to the game. We have all seen new dungeons: I believe that new graphics and mechanics would create a new gaming experience. Zyx's new dungeon is demonstrating this.
I have created a new wall set for DM and will post maybe in a new dungeon release. But if everyone wants to use the original graphics file is there any point???

Conflux 2 felt like a new game to me, and that was largely in part to the new atmospheric graphics. I say the more the better, whether it be for the original engine or newer funkier ones.
It's especially interesting to see what can be squeezed out of that 16 colour palette. I'd love to play a new dungeon with some new wall graphics, so let's see it!

I will take a look at that dmextract and dmedit and see what I can do..
Small pictures have a great advantage: they are made in a shorter time than larger ones. more difficult, though (few pixels harder to recognize but you still have the textdescription to help. .;btw, A. Jaros did a great job there!!!(items, portraits.)
let's see
