NON-DM BEHAVIOUR? Vorpal blade

Post by beowuuf »

Canb you damage ethereal with any attack of the vorpal blade or just disrupt? In DM you could, I thoguht after discussion you could in RTC but I couldn't hit a ghost nor water elemental with a jab in a dungeon : (

Yeah, in DM they were affected by all Vorpal attacks, doesn't seem the case in RTC. I think this should change -- after all, the blade is magic, it shouldn't matter what kind of strike you make with it to do damage!

Is there some kind of probability for the vorpal blade to not make it work? (Meaning besides the usual hit probability of course) Apart from that, I also think all attacks should -at least potentially- be able to hit ethereal beings.
