Latest CSBuild no longer opens non-CSBWin dungeons

Post by Gambit37 »

I guess this is self explanatory! Since the v1.2008 of CSBuild which allows for 64 levels, I can no longer open any .dats from any of the formats that I used to be able to: Atari, PC, SNES, X68000, etc... It tries little and big endian format automatically, reports that the dungeon has >64 levels and that the 'save game' appears damaged, then unexpected format.

:(

I guess version 1.2009 had better get released very soon.
Later today if at all possible. Thanks for the report.

Version 1.2009 is in CSB17Levels.rar.

Easy to fix once the problem is located. I had forgotten
to initialize the number of levels for the case of original,
non-extended dungeons. It would have worked if you
would first load a new dungeon of the correct size before
loading the old dungeon.

Programs are so fussy about these details.
