Colours Wierd In Portraits

I downloaded the Portraits from this site and resized them as bitmaps. However, whenever I play the game the portrait colours are wrong, in Paint Shop they are fine, but in the game. There are only about 10 colours so that cannot be the problem.

The portraits have to be in the correct 16 colour palette that CSBWin is expecting. Files on this site are GIFs that use custom palettes -- you need to remap the colours to a specific palette, which I will dig and and post a link to tomorrow.
