How's 0.29 coming GG

Post by copperman »

George Gilbert wrote:I'm still here too but as mentioned already a bit busy at the moment (I'm writing another book). Should hopefully be finished in a few months and then back to RTC again.

In the meantime I'm lurking away and read through any new postings several times a week - if you have any questions, please feel free to ask away...

Book's done thankyou :-)

Slowly getting through the list of updates to the editor and RTC core engine. I started with well over 100 things to fix and I've done about 70 or so of them. Probably won't get much done whilst the Olympics are in full swing and then I've got a few competitions myself coming up, but we're definitely getting there...

did all the registered people get the email? because it seems I got 55 new emails announcing returned mail after the mass mail was sent out. :P Since it uses my email as a return address. :)

perhaps something wrong with the mailer?

I got my message and immediately downloaded and installed the new RTC (A -BIG- Thanks, George ! ). 55 bumped messages, that's less than 10% of the messages. I think it's a normal rate.

I also received notification of the new version.

It's really weird that whenever I have completed DM with a current version, the next version is sure to be released very soon after. Guess I'll have to play more often :P However with the bugs of 0.29 I wouldn't recommend any serious adventures before they're fixed.
