The star of this show is definately Stamm and his beard. The adventures that facial extravaganza has seen are outrageous.

Ok, after thinking about it for a while, I have an additional rule for dealing with multiple postings, since there is no one in heckfire anyone can actually prevent these.

The FIRST poster is responsible for either altering or deleting their entry. The person who is placed second must NOT alter their post.
The first poster must try and intelligently correct their mistake (let's face it, trying to twist a word to fit the stuff after it is probably going to lead to some inspired lunacy).

If the first poster doens't notice, then I'm sure Gambit or another mod like me might come along, or at least point the person to a word that's knocked, but in the end its all fun.

So, for example, poor JCG shouldn't have to delete four words : )

lol, yes, if only Hisssa would donate the tinsel, then we would truely have a merry cracker-mas!

Hope people don't mind, I tweaked one or two punctuation marks on posting the current state of the story... a full stop here, a capital there, a quatation mark cause I messed up the flow...

We never guessed the treasures Stamm had hidden in his beard. I'm not sure ( fear ?) we are at the end of our findings ! :D

I, ashamedly, have not seen the final installment yet (family, if you are reading this, I did hint! DVD, box set, no?). I was however stunned to read of Gothmog in the book, as it was DM that came first for me!

The Silmarillion is pretty hard going. Ultimately though, if it wasn't for Tolkien, I doubt any of this fantasy world would exist. Vorpal blades? Thats new for me! I always knew where Sonja came frame from (lol), not so with Chani, maybe I need to expand my repertoire

I love you all!

What a fantastic story to return home to! I don't even care about any misphaps that have occured in posting, spelling or what not. Yes, it's that good! I will never be able to look at Chani's badger again...

I need to re-read this and update the tiny thread accordingly so I can relish all the greatness.

Fantastic stuff guys, keep it up.

Glowing urethras did shine, Gothmog illuminating wisdom through teeth, wisdom canines to premolar caries, gingivitis threatening despite plaque.

Drooling, Nabi jumped over Stamm's camouflage pulling a hair-raising chicken toy from Syra's bodice. "Yippee !", Nabi giggled prophetically, drool expansively dripping over the stolen capon, obsessed grin inexplicably expanding grotesquely betraying inevitable curses. Syra wailed, harpoon thrusting festively towards Nabi's entangled obsessions. "Oh, let's not, poor people ignore Boris's courageous interlopers."
I absolutely *love* this. "chicken toy" for some reason works a lot better than "toy chicken". And the fact that Syra's response has nothing to do with Nabi's atrocious theft makes it even better.

:)

Just wondering: should we keep this story going indefinitely or have some cut off point?

For the sake of sanity probably a cut off point, like mid or end of january, assumign that it would start running out of steam before them anyway...then you can lock the topic and leave it in all it's festive glory : )

Maybe even vote for the person who twisted the story most, and let them have a full sentence at the end to finish things off !

"Wuuf's bums"????

I had to clean my monitor when I read that. I thought it said 'burns' at first!

It should have been "...derived from bums" but Beo was posting at the same time.... it still works in my opinion. ;)

Only just noticed that I finally broke the 3000 post mark. Seems weird as I haven't been around much and when I last looked the other day it was around 2700. I'm sure I haven't posted *that* many words to the story thread...
