GAME v0.32: No sound during the game!

I don't know what causes this, but I was in the skeletons level and I pressed the button inside the room with the crossbow. Then, no sound! I have to save the game, quit, run the game again and resume my game. What causes this?

For now, I don't know. This happen only one time when I pressed the button.

Unless you can consistently recreate the problem, it's very diffcult for George to even guess what might be causing hardware failures such as this. Somethings you can tell him that might help:

What version of Windows?
What sound card?
What version of Direct X?

another sound bug i've noticed for a long time : you hear the "attack_thud" sound when you fail to hack a door (for example with a "swing" attack), and a weird silence when you succeed (with a "bash" or "chop" attack and enough strength).
my sound card is a soundblaster audigy 1 platinum : i can switch between creative native drivers and kx project drivers, same problem for both..
