Well, I've been gone for over a week. Did you miss me?

I moved house. Have wounded my knees in the process. Need to see a doc. Finally got the PC set up with my 2Mb broadband connection. Doesn't seem any faster that the 1Mb I had before. I ache. It's raining. Work tomorrow. And 100 best albums on telly tonight -- when can we get something decent, please?

So that's my week. How are you all?

I had a weird dream the other night, and part of it was a nightmare that had this board completely overrun with Russian spammers. You've made me paranoid, Paul!

Ban them all! Get the Mod Knife out (throw, stab, ban) and set to work...

Disclaimer: this is not a crusade against Russians, and I am not racist (well maybe towards certain Scots). Its just these spammers all seem to be Russian! And also they are posting links to filth.

What I want to know is... when are they making 'The Hobbit'? That would make a cracking film, and yes, I HAVE seen that animation.

I saw the fake trailer, wish it was the real one!

Don't know, think Peter Jackson was doing Kong first, but once that's out of the way, hopefully the legal wrangling with the rights can get sorted - that would be a sweet film!

IMHO, the Hobbit is a better story in some regards. Obviously aimed at kids, but... I am sure we have had this conversation before?!

I am in a good mood, I have FINALLY finished Wizardry 7. I was playing it nearly all day everyday and it has driven me nuts. Well, more nuts than I was.

Lol, congratulations! I have Conflux II to re-start...I think I will need all my sanity intact, so will try my hand at it tomorrow.

Just got a badly written swathe of notes for my novel put to computer though, so that's cool!

Me either! Well, I have been online, just trying to actually not distract myself with shiny e-mail and websites every two seconds! Must...look at...work stuff....

Lol, I call it a novel, it's really just a set of unconnected badly written paragraphs so far (that are supposed to stretch over three core books with maybe some short stories and a spin off book or two) : ).

Job thingie is going fine I guess - nothing rivetting yet, but I'm putting my name out there and doing fun weird stuff to see what's out there career-wise.

One thing I have learned over the years (and its not DSAs) is that even though jobs are for earning money, enjoying it is more important. So good on ya!

Oh yeah, I got a letter from the NHS today! I see an endocrinologist on the 23rd. The 6 weeks has took 6 months, but oh well. My Dad is furious, and has written to the Labour party AND the DailyMail! Saw Doc today, BP fine, so thats good.

Not many green women about, and the dungeon is about to be reborn. I ahve new ideas...

They are sneaky... pass you on to a new consultant, and the TOTAL waiting time is reset... Thats all they are doing, passing me around to make it look like something is happening. Oh, and the NEW waiting time for something is not started until the current consultant decides what he is doing. Its the magic roundabout.

I have got some ideas from Wiz7! I will be firing up CSBEdit soon and getting to work. I'll let COnflux be released first or nobody will play it!!!

Well I never want to do that again... I accidently severed the telecom cable to the modem! This CAT 5 stuff... how fiddly? Anyway, every cloud and all that, I managed to cut out a 10m redundant loop and it seems to be faster now!
