You gotta love local shops like that:
"Hi, it's 3am and I need some cheese five socks and one of those twisty things that you can use to extract things from someone if they tripped over funny and landed badly"
- "Here you go sir"
"Sweet!"

Random comment:

The wonders of the automatic toilet. At one of the buildings I work they have an autmatic bathroom. Sink, urinal, toilet, and paper towel dispenser.

the design of the toilet stall was done by someone with a sense of humour. They way it works is there is a sensor behond you when you sit.. when you get up though the sensor detects this and then flushes a few seconds later.

where the sick humour comes in, is that he places the toilet paper so far away from you, you need to lean so far that the light sensor goes off and thinks you've gotten up.. as you hear the sudden rush of water you need get up pretty quick to escape being drenched as it's one of those short bowls.. Twisted little @#@$@%@...

anybody encountered anything like this?

Well you could get your revenge and crap on the floor.... or grab the paper first!

Yes, lots of things in life like this! Some annoying, some humourous and most just plain idiotic. But you know me, not one to complain...

However I will complain about my wisdom teeth. It feels like a Black Flame has parked itself at the back of my mouth. Trying to quell the pain with some red wine....

Motivation! Inspiration! Thats what I need right now. I have forced myself to do some more of my new dungeon. So I may lurk around here for a bit.

Perhaps drinking some Des Ew wine would be a more appropriate choice?

Quite possibly, though that might make my brain disappear too... some have said that is a place of little material being...

Glad to hear that you forced yourself to work on your new dungeon Paul. I am currently playing Black Flame some more, and I really liked the Fireball trap in level 6. Basically, you step on a floor pad and a giant fireball comes down the corridor to chase you. If you run around the next corner, you can turn on a teleporter so the fireball follows you, and you can then use it to destroy some iron bars if you are fast and brave enough (I hope you know which one I mean). Some variation on this would be great, since it is both a deadly trap and a powerful weapon against some strong monsters nearby. I really like that concept.

Brains are overrated anyways.

Yes I remember that puzzle! I quite liked it myself! Glad to hear you are persevering, but it is hit and miss due to lack of proper playtesting, and it is a DMute only affair. Original ending though...

Yeah, I have one of the teeth growing at 90 degress out of my gum. The gum went really sore, as did the inside of my cheek and now they have sorta healed together into a big blob!

My wisdom teeth do the same to me sometimes. Most of the time I'm fine, though. A few weeks ago, I recently saw on TV that the whole story of Coke dissolving teeth or your stomach is an urban myth. Too bad...

Coke does dissolve teeth! I remember putting a tooth in a glass of coke, and in the morning it had gone! Obviously when you drink it, it doesn't stay in contact long enough and your saliva neutralises it.

You're probably right about the stomach bit, but the chicken tikka massala that I am currently eating no doubt will cause some damage

I hope your stomach will survive... Yes, you are right, the myth just told about the stomach part. So, you know what you have to do - Coke that bugger into oblivion!

Ah, yes, well... dentist! I might just visit him.

Oh, my new telescope arrived yesterday, it looks like it fell of the Hubble satellite, it is enormous! Got great views of Jupiters bands and Saturns rings but nearly froze to death doing so

Yes... and no. I have the camera adapter but need an electric motor coupled to the mount to drive the scope due to the longer exposure times required for most objects. It is something I am looking into.
