Visual glitch in CSBWin98v53PAF1 (CSBwin)

Post by Florent »

Hi Paul, I'm not sure this is relevant anymore since it seems you have already released v53CGE## but here goes :

I have found a graphic bug in CSBWin98v53PAF1, the one I'm currently using. In a 2 block wide corridor, a wall to my left and a pain rat to my right, I could see the pain rat's tail "in" the wall on the left... Same if I cast a poison cloud : I could see it to my left, "in" the wall.
This is in the "pain rat room" on level 08 (HOC=00).

I can provide my savegame and a record.log file. In the meantime here are some screen grabs :

Edit : images removed

Once again this is in v53PAF1. Should I systematically update to the latest version (CGE versions seem to pop up every day, pretty hard to follow...) ?

The graphic appears to have wrapped around.
Can you try it with the latest CSBwin from
OverlayDemo.zip (version 9.8v54 I think). Else
send me the savegame and I will try it myself.

OK I'll try that. OverlayDemo.zip contains CSBuild v2.05 and CSBWin98v54, but I found a CSBuild v2.06 and a CSBWin98v55 on dianneandpaul.net  Nevermind, I'll try both versions.

Quite right as well. Everything's fine using both v54 and v55... Sorry about that.
